Sara is a young entrepreneur within business and business development and have run Dance UF and is the initiator to UF alumni, now developed into an national organization. As winner of the title Business Creator of the Year she receives a qualification to an admission place at one of the bachelor programs at the Stockholm School of Economics.

2010’s top 3 viral videos

The world’s biggest video portal continues to grow. During 2010 users uploaded more than 13 million hours of video content, which resulted in more than 700 billions video views.

In March 2010 YouTube announced that 24 hours of video material is uploaded every minute and in May the 2 billion mark were passed in terms of number of video views per day.

Procter & Gamble – from soap opera to social media

Procter & Gamble is about to end the 77 year old era of sponsoring and producing soap operas – a genre the company even took part in establish – in order to switch over to social media marketing and word of mouth.

The shift in marketing strategy is motivated with the success for i.e. Old Spice Guy which reached 1,8 billion, 140 million YouTube views and an increase by 2 700% in terms of Twitter followers. TV-commercials are both expensive and less effective for the way women make decisions.

“Digital media becomes more and more important for the way to marketing our company and our products and is now a natural part of our communication mix” sais marketing director Marc Pritchard. “Word of mouth is actually the oldest form of marketing but now a days combined with the latest of technology.”
